His Shadow Faded

Faded Away

His Shadow Faded

In twilight's hush, where shadows play,

A figure stood, in life's fleeting sway,

His presence grand, his heart aflame,

But time, the thief, stole away his name.

His shadow faded alongside time,

Like autumn's leaves, that wither in the grime,

The wind it howled, the trees did sway,

As his life force ebbed, and faded away.

The moon, a ghost, in silver light,

Cast shadows dark, on endless night,

The stars above, a twinkling sea,

Reflected sorrow, in ecstasy.

His legacy, a fading line,

A whispered tale, of love divine,

The memories, a distant hum,

Of laughter, tears, and life's brief drum.
