HIM

Him Again

By Lakena McQueenPublished about a year ago • 1 min read

I lay my head on his chest,

wrapped in his arms,

seeking comfort in the familiar.

It is a release—

an outpour of emotions

hidden away from eyes that see

and ears that hear.

Not a sacred but a safe space,

away from the world

and every other body in it.

This is why I love you
