I never thought I'd find my heart's desire,
Until the day I met his burning fire.
His eyes, like sapphires shining bright and blue,
Captivated me, and my heart was anew.
His smile, a work of art, a masterpiece so fine,
Made my heart skip a beat, and my soul entwine.
His laughter, music to my ears, so sweet and true,
Made me fall in love, with him, and all anew.
His touch, a spark that sets my soul ablaze,
Makes me feel alive, in a world of daze.
His love, a shelter from life's stormy sea,
A safe haven, where I can be me.
He's the missing piece that makes my heart complete,
The one I need, to make my love retreat.
He's the reason I wake up with a smile so wide,
The one I need, to be by my side.
I love him for who he is, and all he brings,
The joy, the laughter, and the tears that springs.
I love him for the way he holds my hand,
For being my rock, my shelter, my guiding stand.

Engulfing Light
I have not been very successful in quieting my mind this evening. I find that as time goes by, I find myself in deeper contemplation, in regards to the purpose of my life. I can say with certainty, that thus far, I have had a life, that with all things considered, has been a well lived one.
