High School Prom
Beautiful dresses flow. The suits so smart

High School Prom
The night arrives, a quiet buzz,
Soft lights and music, laughter’s hum.
Dresses flow and ties are neat,
In crowded halls where strangers meet.
A dance that holds both hope and fear,
Eyes search for someone near.
Smiles that hide a secret ache,
Dreams that tremble, hearts that break.
Slow songs spin in gentle sway,
Footsteps lost, then found their way.
The moments stretch, then slip away,
A night to hold, a night to stay.
When morning comes, the magic fades,
But memories linger in the shades.
A fleeting time, a passing chance,
The high school prom — one last dance.
