High Expectations
A comic and poem about expectations and goals

Drawn by me :)
Goals
My lofty goals bark—
they yank on their tether.
I gasp for more breath,
and we run together.
-
My little goals lounge—
they doze on my lap.
I give them a scratch,
and we take a long nap.

I really enjoy these poems with your pictures. They are both relatable and fun. Thank you!
Always love your humour and relatable (and skilful) poetry! Excellent job J. Jay. 😊👏
ah ha, once again you have created a visual with your drawings and humor! I get mired in details, constantly researching if what I am writing (even if fiction) is correct; a photo for the headliner....you stated it well here!
Love this! Playful metaphor for a true experience.
