Just wanted to let you know how much you mean to me, you taught me everything, from how speak to how to read. You showed me how fun reading can be, feeling words dance like waves on the sea.

You showed me gentle, you gave me kind, you reached out to help my broken mind. To my demons I was resigned, but you reminded me of the lighter side.

I see you in all the good things I do, nothing I've ever said could be more true, cause if there were only one thing I wish I knew, I'd say you.

So here's to your day, from the spotlight you may stray, trying to say it's too cliche, but sometimes it's okay to stay.

And when life gets tough and you need a breather, you can always talk to your little reader.
