Male minds can be a curious thing
Seeming almost impenetrable, yet still empty
...
They beckon to you with their enticing tongues
Aching to show off the self-proclaimed wonders that lie within
...
So desperate to regale you talking of their wares
Which they have collected in their most educational years
...
I humour them as I would an old merchant who
Gleefully tours me around his ‘priceless’ relics
...
The unknown is almost exciting for a while until
Realisation hits that your initial distastes were justified
...
With the only thing left to excite you
Is their creative methods of disappointment

For the Love of Samosas
Prologue Today's post is short fiction in honor of all the hassled parents trying to keep their angsty teens in line. "Bye mum! I'm not coming home for lunch today. I'll be going to Mac's with Kelvin and his buddies before we head to his house to study for a test." With that, Adam Lim careened like the Flash out of his humble HDB abode.
