A beating of drums
A blaring of trumpets
An echo of voices
Piercing my soul
Revival! Revival is coming!
How loudly the heart thumps
The voices of ones crying out
“Repent, come, love Jesus
Witness, receive eternal life
Revival! Revival is here!”
I can't sit still nor sleep
While he comes with the sickle
Reaping where he did not sow
Never! Not on my watch, ever!
Revival! Revival is my song!
Of what use are dead men?
O Lord, of what use are they?
Keep us safe O Lord to go forth
To proclaim the word unto men
Revival! The Lord says Revival!
Victory, the enemy is vanquished
Victory, the battle is won
Victory, shout to the ends
He has won it, ours is victory
The battle is won, victory is ours!
