A beating of drums A blaring of trumpets An echo of voices Piercing my soul Revival! Revival is coming! How loudly the heart thumps
I seek to see all men saved Yet am I saved myself? Am I willing to deny self? To see these men saved? Am I ready to live as Christ lived?
It is all pointless Struggling to live Yet we'd rather be alive Hope keeps us moving Hope in everything good Hope we will fine
A ping I hear amongst tones A text I see from an unknown Behind the texts stood a being In all discussions we were keen
There are joys and there are pains Sadly I must confess I do not feel any I think I wasn’t created in a time where feelings mattered but in a time where palms had stains
A little bit of the money Just so he could taste the honey In denial we got to bargain But a hard one he drove and it bore more pain
