Forever, have I been unable to forget
Was it not meant to be
Such memories not made to suffer regret
They last like the endlessness of the sea
---
Spotted the signs of the everlasting
Giving some special place inside the mind
Until powers bigger than ours began blasting
Away at the happiness we tried to find
---
Forever locked in one unforgiving place
Never again to be free
Nothing done made it easier to replace your face
For forgetting the feelings of you were not to be
---
Taken, not forgotten
Those days kept me going long after gone
If only not in a world so incredibly rotten
If only we could have beaten the odds and won
---
At the end of the story, still haunted by the days spent
With you and the rest of the world stopped
You've been with me wherever I have went
Despite having our bubbles popped
---
And in those times we were so young, and you were innocent
Wishes in the well still keep that memory alive
Sweetness that was always abundant
Wishing for one more moment to feel that I've
---
Earned such feelings and been that guy
Unto the world you did unleash me
But without you, how many times must I die
Before wishes become my reality
---
So with that one last wish of mine
I cast away the coin with pride
Hoping that you find happiness and will be fine
As I hold it all deep within, deep inside
