Hedgehogs and Headlights

Spikes; tires deflate by daylight

Promised promiscuity by a generation in mutiny

Propel a rebel to repel whilst minds sink in gel

A hardening concoction bringing wells or dry spells

How deeply mourn those who cant climb out

or those filled with hatred for their drought

Non sense the greater unconscious

find me answers not a broken promise

only allegorical to the algorithms we're hostage

yet I answer in fate; free me from bondage

I sink and freeze for I'm down on my knees

deeply eternal my internal gaze

Finding pincushions in each waking phrase

I just wish shelter from this tall blinding grass

I stumble on asphalt as a tumbling mass

Headlights adorn me

Can a instant of eye contact make you free

This blistering anticipation to freeze

Frozen infront I see my own back

Flattened in an instant

opposites attract
