Summer is the time for the endless sun

The heavenly beat down of rays and haze

Scorching reminders that we in a glaze

Find peace in the heat and reap the repeat

Under the high flame and circled planet

We rotate on sand and skip the granitite

It is too hot for the bareness of feet

Summer reminds us what we cannot touch

So, we play the cheat and rid us bare feet

And as such we try and play in the sun

We hop in the water to cool with lush

Forgetting the reality to be

Enjoy the solid temp of cloudless light

Write down the love of the perfect degree
