Though her soul rests leagues away,
And I long constantly for her tender kiss,
My heart remains joyful every day,
For her heartstrings touch me with bliss.
They travel across tempestuous seas,
As they bravely battle deadly uncertainties,
To bring in my life that gentle breeze,
And consign my worries to lost eternities.
Kings will rise and fall with the clime,
Civilizations will be brought to their decline.
Through the changing winds and time,
Her heartstrings will forever be bound to mine.
