A Poetic Reflection on Love, Loss, and Healing

In just one heart, unseen, untouchable grace,

Like fire’s warm embrace, it’s hard to retrace.

Rare to find a heart, to wear another’s face,

Cherish true love’s art, don’t let kindness go to waste.

So much concern we hold, unable to let go,

Forgiveness in our soul, yet reluctance tends to grow.

When the heart’s in pain, it’s hard to truly show,

Silent tears like rain, feelings held in tow.

As hearts grow cold, change takes flight,

What once was gold, now fades from sight.

Enthusiasm wanes, wounded by the fight,

Indifference remains, and love takes flight.

A big heart forgives, embraces all with care,

A small heart lives, holding just one to bear.

Yet hearts do fear, deception’s lurking snare,

Lies behind love’s veneer, a pain that’s hard to bear.

One heart, one chance, to love, not to harm,

To feel love’s sweet romance, to keep hearts warm.

Hurt only those who, by your side, stand arm in arm,

Protect the love that’s true, and keep hearts from alarm.

When a heart’s in pain, it’s cruelty that it cries,

Don’t let goodness wane, as time quickly flies.

Cherish those who’ve shown, under friendship’s skies,

Their love, so brightly sown, in your life, like fireflies.

Hearts are not like clothes, to mend and make them right,

Once they’re torn by woes, the pain takes its own flight.

A heart, once grown cold, remains in the darkest night,

So cherish the love you hold, and keep your hearts burning bright.
