Heart beat

From the moment we are born, Until the final breath is drawn, It keeps us going, night and morn, Our heart beats on, and on, and on.

In rhythm and in time it goes,

A steady thump, a steady flow,

A constant beat that never slows,

The pulse of life, that's how it goes.

From the moment we are born,

Until the final breath is drawn,

It keeps us going, night and morn,

Our heart beats on, and on, and on.

It speeds up when we are scared,

And races when we're unprepared,

But even when we're unaware,

It's always there, it's always shared.

It sings a song of life and love,

A melody that fits like a glove,

It's a gift that's sent from above,

Our heart beat, a symbol of.

So cherish it with all your might,

And listen closely, day and night,

For it's the sound of your own life,

The beat that keeps you in the light.
