Healing Impediment

Healing Impediment

Insufferable Pain rips through me

Tearing at my inner being

Slicing deep into my bones

Poisonous person amputated

Healing painfully, slowly begins

The bleeding gradually stops

Harsh scar tissue forms

The searing wound remains

A constant reminder of gullibility

A cruel attestation of stupidity

The scar slowly starts to fade

Healing is almost done

Heedless words slash it open

The pain compounded by salt

Deception indisputably laid bare

Imprudence oozing purulently

A searing, gaping wound again

The hurt given no chance to heal

The blood flows like tears

Private pain indecently exposed

Thoughtless words pierce deep

A constant reminder of exploitation

A cruel attestation of asininity

Healing consistently impeded
