He Will Return

One Day

Oh, how my heart doth ache,

With every breath I take,

I miss him so much, it's true,

The one I loved, the one I knew.

His laughter, his smile, his eyes,

The way he'd make me feel alive,

The memories we shared, the lies,

All gone, but the pain stays alive.

The days are long, the nights are cold,

Without him by my side, so bold,

I miss his touch, his warm embrace,

The way he'd make my heart race.

I miss his voice, his sweet tone,

The way he'd make me feel at home,

The way he'd whisper in my ear,

"I love you, my dear."

Oh, how I miss him so much,

It's like a storm that never ceases,

A hollow feeling in my chest,

A longing that will never rest.

But still, I hold on to the hope,

That one day, he'll return my scope,

And in his arms, I'll find my peace,

And my heart will cease to grieve.
