He Walked Barefooted To Save Our Life
He washed our sins away

He Walked Barefooted To Save Our Life
He walked the earth with open feet upon the dust and stone,
No crown upon His weary head, no place to call His own,
Each step a quiet sacrifice, each road a path of pain,
Yet still He chose to carry on, though none could ease the strain.
The world did not receive Him well, it turned its face away,
Still He gave love in every breath, in every word He would say,
No anger shaped the way He moved, no bitterness took hold,
Only a truth so fierce and pure, more precious far than gold.
He touched the lost, He healed the weak, He saw what others missed,
A kindness flowing endlessly from every outstretched wrist,
And though He knew the cost ahead, the ending drawing near,
He never once stepped back in doubt, or turned away in fear.
The weight He bore was not His own, it rested on us all,
In every silent failing, in every hidden fall,
And still He walked that lonely road, with purpose in His stride,
A love too vast for words to hold, a truth none could deny.
No shoes to guard His wounded feet, no shield to block the pain,
Just faith enough to carry Him through loss we could not name,
A path that led to suffering, to sorrow deep and wide,
Yet still He walked it willingly, with mercy as His guide.
And now I stand and think of Him, the price He chose to pay,
A life laid down in quiet strength, to show a better way,
He walked barefooted through it all, so we might rise above,
A story carved in sacrifice, a legacy of love.
