He Stole My Identity I Stole His Life For Revenge

The first sign came without warning

A letter slipped beneath my door

Debt collectors screaming loudly

For things I never purchased before

Bank accounts suddenly emptied

My credit shattered into dust

Friends looked at me with suspicion

Like I was somebody corrupt

He stole my name without a care

Wore my life like stolen skin

Every record every secret

Twisted underneath his grin

Police arrived one freezing evening

Questions sharp against my face

Meanwhile he walked free and laughing

While I drowned inside disgrace

I lost my job within a week

Rumours spread through every hall

People whispered when I entered

Watching closely for my fall

My own family turned uncertain

Trust collapsing piece by piece

I felt trapped inside a nightmare

Praying somehow it would cease

Then rage slowly replaced sadness

A darkness clawed beneath my chest

Revenge wrapped around my thoughts

Like poison giving me no rest

I began to track his movements

Every habit every lie

Studied where he spent his evenings

Watched the hunger in his eyes

He lived careless rich and reckless

Drinking hard in crowded bars

Flashing money stolen proudly

Driving stolen fancy cars

He thought nobody could touch him

Thought he buried me alive

Never noticed from the shadows

I was learning how he survived

I hacked the accounts he treasured

Drained the fortune piece by piece

Sent evidence to those he worked with

Destroyed his comfort destroyed his peace

I exposed affairs and secrets

Watched his empire start to crack

Everything he stole from me

I made certain he paid back

One cold night beneath the bridge

He found me standing in the rain

Bloodshot eyes and shaking hands

Finally broken by the pain

He begged softly for forgiveness

Claimed he never meant this harm

Funny how regret arrives

Only when disaster starts

I stared hard into his face

The man who buried me alive

Then I turned and left him there

With nothing valuable to survive

Now two ghosts walk separate roads

Both consumed by endless scars

He stole my identity first

I stole the life he loved apart
