It's not that I hate you,

but that I don't love you.

It's not that I'm leaving,

but that I'm not staying.

~

It's not that I'm lying,

but that I'm not saying.

It's not that I don't care,

but that you're onto me.

~

I don't care about you,

though I say I love you.

If I cared about you,

then I wouldn't leave you.

You know I'm here for you,

but I'm gone.

~

He loves me, loves me not,

loves me not, he loves me

he loves me, loves me not,

loves me not, loves me not.

~

It's not that I forgot,

but I don't remember.

It's not that all is lost,

but, I'm on a bender.

~

I don't care about you,

though I say, yes, I do.

If I cared about you,

then I wouldn't leave you.

You know I'm here for you,

but I'm gone.

~

He loves me, loves me not,

loves me not, he loves me

he loves me, loves me not,

loves me not, loves me not.

~

He loves me not; he's gone.
