Haunted

By Love

Ok, I think, maybe, I’m ready now

To finally let you go

Remembering the moment when you first told me so

All the leaves have died

Their colors all bled

The magic of living spins here, inside my head

The past tries to hold on

While we learn to let go

Drifting away freely, like the newly formed snow

Leaving its mark

A small, subtle clue

That no distance could ever stand between me and you

So, when the stars shine

And the lonely moon glows

I’ll remember I’m yours and your memory is my ghost
