Happy New Year's

A Collection

A new year is born,

A blank slate, so clean and pure,

Fresh journal awaits.

*

Resolutions made

Bygone promises renewed

A New Year begins

**************************

A new year, a new beginning

A time for celebration

A clean slate, an old year ending

/

Out with the old, in with the new

Is how the saying goes

Time for a fresh start; a new year, a new you

/

Time for resolutions

It is a time for change, a time for hope

A new year, perfect for absolutions

/

May all your dreams come true

In the fresh days to come

Happy New Year to Each of You

**************************

I don’t set a New Year’s resolution

I can’t keep them anyway

I just go with my natural evolution

And choose the best path presented my way

*

I don’t set a New Year’s resolution

They just get in the way of personal growth

I just fill my soul full of absolution

This I swear to you is my solemn oath
