Happier times will soon return to us
Although it wont be without a fuss.
Not knowing when it will all end
Do this, doing that is sending us around the bend.
Safety should always come first
For all, before it gets any worst.
Aim to clear it before bloody Brexit
Could a vaccine really help fix-it?
Elsewhere the world still goes on
Spring, summer and autumn have all gone.
People start to plan for Christmas
Alas, not together for tasty turkey sandwiches.
Come next year, will we be free
Everyone will start again, like a bud on a tree.

War of the Worlds: The Return
It was nearly one hundred and twenty years ago when Martians had launched an audacious attempt to take over and make earth their own home, spreading that red alien weed everywhere. That was until what seemed so simple to us humans was not so for our Martian invaders, they seemed to catch a common cold a virus of sorts from one of our very own earth germs, for once mother earth was fighting back.

A Few Moments More
You’ll give it one more minute, and then you’re headed back inside. It’s pretty chilly out, after all. Not that that’s a real issue - you’ve stood out here for longer, and in colder weather. The snow is nearly gone already; tiny, dirt-stained islands of the stuff form a shrinking archipelago dotting the sea of green that is your backyard. Striations of sunlight dance through the trees at the edge of the woods and paint the scene in a camouflage of brown, green, and gold.
