This sadly did not take an soul searching at all. I am an avid online scrabble player and would say about 90% of the time cheat by using an anagram app. A massive flaw (one of my many). The title Hamartia originates from the Greek verb hamartanein and means a permanent internal character deficit or simply a singular, devastating mistake made in a critical moment. I am going with my permanent internal character deficit!

Hamartia

It demands brilliance which I don't have
so I feed my jumbled rack of tiles to a quiet tab
letting an algorithm sculpt the multi-syllable lies.

I drop words I have never once spoken onto high-scoring squares
stealing a victory built entirely on someone else's database.
