I’m only half
Half white
Half asian
Not full
Not enough
I’m not white enough to be white
I’m not asian enough to be asian
But what’s the inbetween?
Is there an inbetween?
I stick out like a blank sheet of paper in the middle of a novel
There’s a fine line in the middle
But that line is blurred
And I can never really tell where the border lies
I can’t play for both teams
But I can’t pick one side over the other
Those two halves make me a whole
A whole person split right down the middle.
