Between mountain peaks

Nestled among the forests

Blue cathedral skies

Spring patters of rain

Dewy moss beneath my feet

Million shades of green

Inhales, Exhales timed

Marriage of movement and breath

A moment of peace

Naked babies run

Bare cheeks exposed to the sun

Squeals of summer fun

Darkness lit by flame

Campfire smoke, marshmallows, wine

Sparks dance in the night

Turn up the music

Flip vinyl record over

Dance with Mary Jane

Autumn storm's white noise

Cozy knee-length socks and tea

A cocoon of warmth

Stir the pot of soup

Kitchen chair pushed up to help

Stolen kiss on cheek

Pouting big brown eyes

Yes, you can come on the couch

Just don't tell your dad

Long days come to end

Snuggle closer to me, love

Where I'm meant to be
