A writer on this amazing platform made it known today was Haiku day, and I loooooove Haikus! I cannot go to bed without honoring the day with my own. Haikus being so short are an ever reminder that beauty, truth, meaning can be found in the small!
I wrote 5, as it is known to be the number of Grace which seems to be a theme in my Haikus today. And that's what we all need right now. Happy April 17, 2026!

Temperatures rise, the rain falls
Spring is breaking free

It’s April again
Warmth breathes, birds sing, flowers bloom
Memories of you

Listen in silence
The sun intrudes upon all
But goes unnoticed

Spring made its way back
It’s time to start again fresh
Give grace to yourself
