Gummy Worms

With love

In the golden light, gummy worms entwined,

While robins with brown bellies danced in rhyme.

White butterflies and bees hummed a sweet song,

A collection of sights, each one belonged.

Running wolves, swift as the wind's own flight,

Eagles soared high, touched the heavens with might.

Unconnected yet binding, their tales weaved,

Sunshine and streetlights, where dreams were retrieved.

Amidst wild violets, their fragrance so sweet,

We ventured deep into the unknown's fleet.

Where destinies converged and fates aligned,

That night, our souls met, in realms undefined.

Intrinsic whispers, an echo from within,

Telling me the end was not where to begin.

Though lies we've told ourselves, doubted the true,

First glances, second chances, love anew.

Letters torn apart, lost in the abyss,

Trash-bound confessions, sealed with a kiss.

Walking steadfastly, chasing dreams untamed,

Breathing in the air, by passion inflamed.

Impatiently waiting, a heart beats in strain,

Emotions pour forth, like blood from a vein.

Unending fires, igniting hearts' desire,

Romantic notions that never expire.

Yet judged for feeling, for loving this way,

Dear honey bee, my love will not sway.

In your sweetness, forever I find thrill,

And so, dear honey bee, I love you still.
