Guilty

An epitaph when you can't find anyone on your side.

What we see in the mirror is filtered through out lens.

Alone and ashamed

Guilty as ever

My pride has gone with you

As you had said forever

Where do I look

How do I find

The little bit of security

The small peace of mind

Something was there

The air wasn't clear

Gravity was no more

Whenever you were near

Now there's a pull

But I'm floating away

All I wanted was a friend

But you never did stay

My mind is made up

Things couldn't make more sense

I remember when you were close

But now you're past tense

The memories I treasure

Will never be tainted

The laughs we had

Will never be lost

There's no telling if we'll

Be reacquainted

But one thing is clear

I'm cutting my loss
