Growing Nature in Yourself

You thought you were swallowing beauty by starving,

A forest of flowers growing in your empty stomach,

While you were shrinking to make space for it.

Little purple violets growing in your veins,

Coloring your lips a rich sapphire blue.

They were doing a good job to make you shiver,

Flustered red roses blooming from your cuts,

And when you are emptying your stomach,

To make sure your flowers will not be crushed.

A universe escaped your lips and fell into an ocean below,

Galaxies swirled around in the water

Beneath your nose and gave off a vile stench.

Nebulas grew on your fingertips,

Lingering at the back of your throat,

You felt grasping them and pull them out of you.

While the universe inside of you was dying,

As it spilled out of you like shooting stars

Falling down from the sky above

As you felt like a living corpse with no purpose.

But they were no benefits gained from all these,

No hopes nor a way to be back to normal.
