Ground Control to Major Tom,

What the fuck is going on?

We been buzzin' you for fifteen minutes long.

Ground Control to Major Tom,

This dead circuit's troublesome,

We can't get you on the spaceship intercom.

Major Tom to Ground Control,

I don't copy you at all,

What's this awful noise? I’m going up the wall.

Ground control to major Tom,

All these crackles cackle on,

Can you hear us with the frequency you're on?

Major Tom to Ground Control,

I'm switching off the set, try later,

We'll see where I might get.

Ground Control to Major Tom,

Are you properly switched on?

Is the earthing strap connected to microphone?

Major Tom to Ground Control,

I feel a weird humming, cackling, coming on,

I'm gonna spark a spliff, and take a toke, hang on.

Ground Control, it’s Ground Control,

You’re not making any sense at all,

Have you been taking drugs again, while in the cap-su-el?

Major Tom to Ground Control,

I still can’t hear your voices call,

Just buzzing, whining and a roar like Niagra Falls.

Ground Control to Major Tom,

We’re not happy with this carry on,

Prepare to come back down we’re ending this mission.

This is Major Tom to Ground Control,

I’m flying very high-i-i,

And I’m floating in a quite pe-peculiar way he-ye-hey,

And the cars look very different today-ay-ay-ay.

Ground Control to Major Tom,

Your transmission's dead,

But we know what’s going on,

Can you hear us Major Tom?

Can you hear us Major Tom?

Can you…

Heeeeere am I floating in my tin can,

Far above the floor,

Planet Earth is round,

And I'm high, above the ground.

Ground Control to Major Tom!

Major Tom… Major Tom…

Oh! For Chrissakes, not again!

Will someone please get that fuckin’ junkie out of my space flight simulator and find a real astronaut!!!

I hear that guy John Glenn can fly a strait course.
