Groove.

It would behoove us all

to lose ourselves

in this.

To fall out

of janky old habits,

disgruntled and

disjointed.

Have it

not our own way,

but listen, rather than

speak,

for the rabbit

in the hat.

The life of the party,

the prestige of the trick,

the underlying

metronome click

which the siege

of egregious background

noise

attempts to bury.

It's there,

still very alive,

you carry it

with you,

aware,

or not.

About the Creator

Jacob Sherman

The desire to read, and perhaps to write, should be cultivated and nurtured with care throughout every stage of life. For my part I will inject what strangeness and truth that I can into our written history. Expect no constants but honesty.
