Grief is Love

"When you love somebody you trade souls with them. They get a piece of yours, and you get a piece of theirs. But when your love dies, a little piece of you dies with them." -Shea Brennan, 1883

I carry our love alone

Since the day you left this earth

You live in my mind

And in my heart

My first and last thoughts each day

And all the moments in between

Our souls forever entwined

Our love will always burn bright

I will carry our love alone
