Hello out there, I wonder how things are beyond the sun
Do we see the same moon, do you have more than one?
I hope my message finds you in a time of calm
That you are well and thriving, living free of harm
Over here it feels as if everyone has gone insane
There is so much suffering and far too much pain
The hate, the murder, the oppression, the bombs
Tell me is it like that, where you are from?
Our blue and green haven is turning to brown
Poverty and pollution are destroying the towns
The forests are wilting and the nature is rebelling
With floods and fires while industries keep swelling
Maybe some of these words bear no meaning
Where you have no acts labelled so unseemly
Perhaps out there, beings cherish their land
Where greed does not conquer over basic demands
I trust that somewhere, intelligence begets peace
Past the stars, where the fighting and distress has ceased
I hope where you are, you love and live with mirth
Where you tell scary stories, of a place called Earth
