Great Nothingness
Meditative Acrostic for the Dancing with Distraction Challenge!
Do you feel weighed down by life?
Immerse yourself deep in water
Stop and take a moment
Tilt your head back and float
Relax and let the waves wash over you
Acclimitise yourself to the water
Coalesce with it
Think about nothing but your surroundings
Indulge yourself in the great nothingness
Only then will you feel free,
Not to mention, happy.

Thank you for reading! I hope this little bit of distraction is as calming as it was to write it!
I posted this in haste and forgot to give a little background about the inpsiration behind it. When I wrote it I was reminded of Donna Renee's awesome The Sensations of Nothingness. You can check it out here:
I actually had forgotten that she used that word in the title, lol, so there we go. If you haven't checked that piece out, definitely do, because it is beautiful and so creative! In fact, while you are there, have a look at the rest of her work too - she's a great writer with a lot of imagination!
The other bit of inspiration was a song called Melt by the British electronic group Leftfield, that I've been listening to recently, well because I listen to it often. But, also because it will be in my Playlist for the Playlist Challenge.
You can take a listen to that song here. It's very relaxing and comprises of some just really beautiful and trippy soundscapes, synths and other loveliness!
Thank you for reading!
