In shades of twilight, the day fades away

Into the warmth of the night, the stars begin to shine

I find myself lost in thoughts of gratitude

For all the blessings around me, so peaceful

A soft breeze whispers through the trees

The soft rustling of leaves, the chirping of bees

The soft glow of the sunset, the calm hue

All this fills my heart with gratitude

The love of family, the laughter of friends

The kindness of strangers, endless joy

The simple pleasures of life, the beauty of art

All these I cherish with a grateful heart

In this world full of chaos, noise, and strife

I find comfort in a quiet life of gratitude

Reminds me to slow down, breathe and see

Beauty in the world, and love to be had

So I am bathed in the warmth of gratitude light
