This poem was inspired by the wondrous fall season that has fallen upon us. That, and the many, many times that people have told me: "You should be grateful!"

I should be grateful, is that what you think?
My dear friend, you've had too much to drink.
Because never in my life have I not been grateful for everything,
Now here's an acrostic poem that makes my heart sing!

Greeting each day with a postive attitude.
Raising others up, despite my personal platitude.
Actively present in my family's life.
Teasing, flirting, and loving fully like a good wife.
Endless fall activities in which I indulge
Fighting off cravings to burn off my bulge!
Understanding the meaning of patience.
Living my life covered in a blanket of confidence.
