Graduation Day

Well, I made it... that is about all I can say?

So the classes were court-ordered and I hated it from the start.

Section by section, written to pick a person apart.

The author meant well and had some fancy degree.

Yet, none of the sections felt like they really applied to me.

Tears after tears, streamed down my face.

A past, just like many others, I wish I could erase.

But that is not how life works even if we try.

So you can stand up, move forward, or lie down and die.

For me the choice was easy, to learn what I could and get to the end.

So I could snatch my graduation papers and eagerly hit send.

Off to the Judge to show I had completed...

Another major task on my personal 'ta do' list was deleted!
