Gradience
Photo by Kseniya Lapteva on Unsplash

A shade or two has been on my brain,

what mind is this when I cannot see anything

possible or even probable.

Thus the gradient levels of gray to grey,

thus the blackness of the silliest white,

tempered blue to brown and of the warmest purple to vermillioned heart of

mine.

Thus form not the myriad of prism of life itself,

only to define the level of shaded tones from dusk to dawn.

What am I jib jabbing about anyway;

in a colored life of 20 to 30 I am to see what goes and comes around,

then I'd know karma can find me,

if I lose my watercolored life to wash things o'er thee.
