Gorgeous Ganache
A Mesmerizing Moment
Silky, smooth, supple
shiny as satin - and twice as durable -
gorgeous ganache flows
from the stainless steel bowl
to land gracefully
in a thick puddle.
Molten on marble.
Spread and scrape.
Spread and scrape.
Spread and scrape.
With every fold,
the luxurious liquid
gets one step closer to a defined substance
without ever fully crossing the threshold into solidity.
When the straight edge of the offset metal
glides across the surface,
pushing a line of shine along with it,
it is time.
Scoop and pipe.
The chocolate semi-solid holds its shape
with admirable skill and perfection.
It’s a serene sight to behold.
