Happy Easter To Everyone

Good Friday to Easter

Three crosses stand against the light,

The world gone still, the sky not right.

A hush, a breath, the air held tight,

you in pain, so full of heavenly light

No thunder rolls, no grand display,

Just wood and nails and loss that day.

although in the quiet, something stayed.

A kind of love that never swayed.

So here I sit and say your name,

Not dressed in gold, not chasing fame.

Jesus thanks—for all you chose to bear,

For not letting go when no one cared.

The stone was rolled, the tomb was bare,

No echo left, just morning air.

They came to grieve, Jesus was gone.

Not taken. you had Risen. life moved on.

And nothing loud, no marching band,

Just folded cloth, and open hands.

Not in the temple or the skies,

‘twas in the dust, you walked alive.

They looked around with doubt and fear,

you said, Peace, and drew them near.

No fire, no throne, no grand parade,

Just scars that proved the price you paid.

So now we walk, not always sure,

With steps that slip, with hearts unsure.

But still we move, because you did.

From a borrowed tomb, to what was hid

Not every question finds its end,

Not every wound is quick to mend.

But hope is quiet, soft and true

And love still walks the world with you.

Amen 🙏💙
