Mouthy young adult
Know-it-all miss
Argumentative and volatile
Accusatory and distrusting
Unreliable young miss
Lying twenty-four-year-old
Self-centered and egotistical
Narcissistic and envious
My child has changed
From the sweet little girl
She used to be
No longer is she the kind of child
Who delighted in hugs and tickles
With kisses and surprises
Gone is the teen
Who minded with ease
The one who listened to what I had to say
In her place is this mugly little troll
This prickly mean ogre

Ah sadly, this is what happens. Sending you lots of love and hugs ❤️
And change keeps moving and will come again.
Aww. This is sad. Let's hope for better days! Lovely poem.
Oh, Lord...do you know my grandchild? I felt this and related so well.
