Gone

where did she go

Gone

Mouthy young adult

Know-it-all miss

Argumentative and volatile

Accusatory and distrusting

Unreliable young miss

Lying twenty-four-year-old

Self-centered and egotistical

Narcissistic and envious

My child has changed

From the sweet little girl

She used to be

No longer is she the kind of child

Who delighted in hugs and tickles

With kisses and surprises

Gone is the teen

Who minded with ease

The one who listened to what I had to say

In her place is this mugly little troll

This prickly mean ogre

About the Creator

Mother Combs

Come near, sit a spell, and listen to tales of old as I sit and rock by my fire. I'll serve you some cocoa and cookies as I tell you of the time long gone by when your Greats-greats once lived.
