Golden Youth

=•=•=•=• •• •• •=•=•=•=

Sunflower sets on sleepy skies

Duck’s reflection is but a bit of a guise

Evening wraps our attention carefully

Transforming our plans into prayers

Wearing humility as a badge of honor

Trudging through grass of grace and truth

Their faces beam and the waters teem and tell

All creation knows praise all too well!

Even the weeds proceed in a fashion of splendor

The cars on the roads nearly scream with a fender bender

She smiles and encourages the flowers to do the same

She carries all that is good in the power of her given name

They strive to shine with purpose and passion

Each year unfolds and blends in adventurous fashion
