A sweet embrace during times of adversity and strife
Golden views from the window pane
I look out into the world and it's not the same
A beautiful man lay next to me
Caramel, Brown skin, and I'm 5'3"
Abandoned by everyone
Even got rejected
No voices at all
In the past neglected
Yet, we smile anyway thru everything
So we feel no pain
Apathetic to the darkness
Accepting only light
It's our proclamation to claim
No matter if it is here or Timbuktu
As long as you lie here next to me
Home will always be you
