Golden Heart

I see the light.

And I am awakened.

I see the pain, within my heart.

It flows out, as the tears run down my face.

I know that I am free from the agony,

I withheld for so long.

Once my soul received compassion.

My heart feels the warmth that was stolen

a long time ago.

My golden heart is glowing.

The sense of peace and light is a stranger.

Something I was never able to feel.

My mind has become clear.

I could hear my heart softly say

set yourself free from the past.

Let it flow right out of you.

It no longer serves your purpose.

As I embraced my self-loving light,

I sensed freedom.
