Gold

Precious Metal Pieces

Inside the mind of a madwoman

You'll see water drops of the past

Falling down the walls of black marble

All these gold-studded fools I saw coming

I was convinced my heart turned to glass

And all analysis seemed so artful

I planted thorns on the thoughts of my enemies

I refused to let another rejection turn me cold

I choose to love, and they'll be haunted by ten of me

With one touch, turning their hatred to gold

When I became the untouched girl

I could never say what they'd seen

But, I refuse to do to this world

Everything that it's done to me

Love Always,

Chayle
