God Is Not Impressed

How much suffering are you going to cause yourself

Wallowing in your own hatred, arrogance, and intolerance?

How long are you going to embrace the rage of your demons

Hurting and causing pain to others out of self-righteousness?

When will you banish your misplaced need to always be number one

Because your ego has allowed you to self-define yourself

As more important, more worthy, and more deserving

Than anyone who might be in your path?

Until then, God is Not Impressed.

How much longer are you going to put yourself and

Your flawed personal human will above Divine will?

Foolishly thinking your inferior flesh and bone intellect

And limited human mind knows more and is wiser than the Divine

Believing you can manifest what you want with desire, wishes and thoughts

Thinking you can actually go toe to toe, mano a mano

With a Divine Power that is so much stronger and more powerful than you?

Until then, God is Not Impressed

When are you going to embrace the faith that is your beautiful birthright

A gift designed specifically to bring you happiness and joy

By simply listening, learning, and accepting the words that were planted in your heart before you were borne and

Not the temporal desires and wishful dreaming of your out-of-control hubris

When will you show gratitude for what has been given to you

And see the face of the Divine in every person you meet?

Until then, God is Not Impressed.

Still, he continues to love you as only a devoted Father can.
