The trees stand tall, reaching for the sky
Their branches reaching, their leaves rustling by
And yet, amidst their beauty, something shines
A glistening of glass, in the morning light
A shattered window, a broken bottle's gleam
Reflecting raindrops, and moonlight beams
The glass on trees, a sight so rare
Adding an ethereal beauty, to the forest's air
A symbol of neglect, thoughtless care
The trees have taken, what we couldn't bear
A reflection of society, in nature's space
The waste of our lives, a sad embrace
But in this glass, there's a lesson to be learned
The power of nature, to heal what's been burned
For though the glass may stay, the tree still grows
Its roots entrenched, its branches aglow
So let us learn, from the trees' steadfast might
And take care of our world, so future generations might
See not the glass, but nature's wonder and grace
And cherish this planet, our only home, with a loving embrace.
