tears from the Broken

Of shattered dreams and silent tears,

In the depths of night, my sorrow sears.

A love once bright, now cold and stark,

Left me wandering, lost in the dark.

Promises whispered, now empty and bare,

Echoes of laughter, now fill the air.

You were my world, my sun, my star,

Now all that's left is this painful scar.

A heart once whole, now split in two,

A piece with me, the rest with you.

Memories linger, haunt my mind,

In the ruins of love, I’m left behind.

Yet in this pain, I'll find my way,

Through broken dawns to brighter days.

For though my heart is torn and sore,

In time, I'll rise, to love once more.
