girls that pop into your head before blowing your brains out.
they lament your having a bad day
mourn the good times gone
they bank every smile
every joke
every pleasantry
rich
as if you were a bad actor
and not a damn great one
swimming amid the occasional gulp of water
not the odd breath of air
holding their breath thinking you’re trying to hold yours
now
and it isn’t because of the girl with the disney princess name
but how couldn’t it be
about that cruel barefaced bitch
that real mother
happiness Herself
